O Lord, God of our forefathers and foremothers,
You are the God who is in Heaven who rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in Your hand, and no one can withstand You. Thank you that you are God who already knows the ends of all things and whose plans and purposes cannot be thwarted. Today we pray for the U.S. Senate run-off elections in Georgia. We pray that every legal voter would be allowed to vote – that there would be no voter intimidation, no illness, no broken-down transportation, or anything else that impedes legal voters from voting. We pray that anyone attempting to cast an illegal vote would be thwarted and prosecuted. We pray that vote counting and tallying would be completely pure of any sort of corruption, whether accidental miscounting or intentional fraud. You strike down evil and break the power of the wicked. In Jesus’s name, we bind all spiritual forces of wickedness that seek to incite violence, interfere in legal voting, or spoil the vote counting and tallying process. Instead, we pray for a spirit of peace and justice to be upon these elections. May the vote be lawful, free, and fair. In Jesus’s name we declare that your will will be done in the voting. We pray for a spirit of peace to be poured out on this nation, especially today and in the next few days. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen.

“The Lord foils the plans of the nations [the wicked]; He thwarts the purposes of the [wicked] peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.” (Ps. 33:10,11)
“There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD.” (Proverbs 21:30)
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19 NIV)
“Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers. They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows. They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear. They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, ‘Who will see it?’ They plot injustice and say, ‘We have devised a perfect plan!’ Surely the human mind and heart are cunning. But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down.” (Psalm 64:2-7 NIV)
“The power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.” (Psalm 37;17 NIV)
