“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.'” (Matthew 9:35-38 NIV)

[Please join me in praying for the Church on Sundays. This post is from Deborah Williams and I wrote the prayer.]

“When the enemy is bound up and his defenses broken, the hold over millions of souls will be undone. Their freedom will shock them, and they will run to you to ask you what to do. Be ready, My people, to lead them. It will become your full time job. You shall speak the word over them and see them delivered in a moment. You shall lay hands on them, and they shall be filled with the Holy Ghost. You shall baptize them in horse troughs and swimming pools, lakes and rivers, oceans and bathtubs.

“Get ready, My remnant. Stop thinking, Lord, I am nothing. I am nobody. What could I possibly do in the Kingdom of God? I say to you, start reading My Word. Get full of Me, for even the least of you shall save hundreds and you shall shepherd them. Just as my servant Moses prayed, ‘Would to God that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that He would put His Spirit on them,’ so I shall.

“These days are coming, so get prepared, My people. Study My Word as if you were a preacher, for you are going to need much wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. This only comes from Me and My Word.”

“Sweet and lovely are the Words of the Lord God Almighty. Hallelujah! Blessings to all who read and believe[.]” – Deborah Williams

Lord of the Harvest,

We long to see your Kingdom fully come here on earth. We long to see the weeds of wickedness disappear from the good crop of your Church. We long for the lost to become found, the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the sick to be healed, the wicked to repent, those captivated by sin to be set free, and your Good News of the Kingdom to be proclaimed in every part of this world. We long to see the enemy of our souls completely defeated and your Abundant Life poured out on this planet. Give us, your Church, a hunger for your Word like we’ve never had before. Give each of us a burning desire to read, study, and absorb the Truth in the Bible so that we can teach, preach, and pray it to and over those who do not yet know you. Prepare your Church to deliver people from demonic forces, to expect signs, wonders, and miracles, to pray for Holy Spirit’s indwelling, to be prepared “in season and out” with your Word on our lips and your heart in our hearts. In these last days, help us to embrace your Truth and your messages in the Bible, through true preaching and teaching, and through true prophecies, dreams, and visions. God, we yearn to see your Kingdom come; make us ready we pray. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36 NIV)

“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.” (2 Timothy 4:2 NIV)

“This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.” (Hebrews 2:3-4 NIV)

“When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.” (Acts 19:6 NIV)

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14 NIV)

“I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
I will show wonders in the heavens
    and on the earth,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
The sun will be turned to darkness
    and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
And everyone who calls
    on the name of the Lord will be saved;
for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
    there will be deliverance,
    as the Lord has said,
even among the survivors
whom the Lord calls.” (Joel 2:28-32 NIV)

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10 NIV)

Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

“‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

“‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”” (Matthew 13:24-30 NIV)
