In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit we give you thanks for this good day and this new year. We thank you for everyday things like each breath we take, the food you provide, warm homes, friendship, love, and so much more. We thank you for the gift of eternal life you offer to us through Jesus Christ and for the dwelling of Holy Spirit within us. We thank you for your call for us to become your children, to live in relationship with you, and to impact this world with your Kingdom principles and glory.
We plead and apply the covenant blood of Christ on ourselves, our spouses, and our children and grandchildren. We pray your protection over us – bodies, minds, souls, spirits, immune systems, property, livelihoods, and relationships. We declare that no weapon formed against us, our families, our extended families, our friends, our churches, counties, states, or even this nation will prevail and prosper, in Jesus’s name. We pray you will break the power of the wicked in all seven mountains of society – government, education, media, economy, arts & entertainment, family, and even the church. We pray you will protect, guard, guide, provide for, and uphold your children. Pour out your grace, favor, and blessing upon us as we seek first your Kingdom and Righteousness and live out the abundant life you call us to.
In this next year, we pray that as we seek your face and confess our sins you would heal this nation. Heal the trauma of the last few years. Heal the deep and demonic divisions in her populace. Heal her economy. Heal her ability to move forward with purpose and trust. By the move of Holy Spirit, bring deep and abiding Revival in your true Church and a Third Great Awakening in society. Cut off demons moving in this nation. Like the first Pentecost, may your tongues of fire fall upon this nation so that we turn from our wicked ways and then prophesy, dream dreams, see visions, and are eternally changed to be like Jesus.
We ask in the strong name of our only hope, Jesus Christ, Amen.
“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.” (Isaiah 54:17 NIV)
“And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death.” (Revelation 12:11 AMP)
“For the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.” (Psalm 37:17 NIV)
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Ephesians 6:10-17 NIV)
“But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.” (Matthew 6:33 NIV)
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” (2 Chronicles 7:14-15 NIV)
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 NKJV)
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.” (Acts 2:1-4 NIV)
“And afterward,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.
Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days.” (Joel 2:28-29 NIV)

Lord, You have told us,
Lord, You have promised
That if Your people would pray
That You would hear from heaven,
You would send Your mercy and
Touch us with Your strong, healing hand
So were calling out to You,
Crying out to you,
Forgive us of our sin, heal our land
As we seek your holy face,
We turn from all our wicked ways
Hear from heaven even now as we pray
