“Play the guitar as you lift your praises loaded with thanksgiving. Sing and make joyous music with all you’ve got inside. Compose new melodies that release new praises to the Lord. Play his praises on instruments with the anointing and skill he gives you. Sing and shout with passion; make a spectacular sound of joy— For God’s Word is something to sing about! He is true to his promises, his word can be trusted, and everything he does is reliable and right.” Psalms 33:2‭-‬4 TPT

Holy God,

Worthy are you to receive power, wisdom, strength, glory, honor and praise. You are true to your promises, trustworthy, reliable, and just. Thank you for bringing us into your family and creating a weekly space in which we can, as a faith community, encounter you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As your children gather for worship today, may the music they use in their local congregations reflect the gifts and callings you have on those bodies. May each person in music and worship leadership approach the morning with a pure heart, desiring to worship you in Spirit and in Truth, and to join with all the companies of heaven in praise. May they lift you praises loaded with thanksgiving, compose new melodies, sing and shout with passionate joy, and play your praises with the anointing and skill they have. Create within these leaders clean hearts, pure minds, and a deep desire to honor you and give YOU glory as they lead their congregations. May each congregation member come to worship desiring to encounter you on a deeper level and give you their whole-hearted worship. We pray against any and all attacks of the enemy of our souls. Protect people from laziness, missed alarms, transportation problems, distractions, or anything else that would easily persuade them from being in your House today. Awaken and gather your people together for worship, in these last days pour out your Spirit, and bring your church to a place of unity in Jesus Christ. To you who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever! AMEN.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV)

“Have mercy on me, O God,
    according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
    blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
and cleanse me from my sin.

Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.” (Psalm 51:1-2, 10-11 NIV)

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23-24 NIV)

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”
(Revelation 5:12-13 NIV)

“Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.” (Psalm 115:1 NIV)
