Let us hold fast the confession of ourhope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:23-25 NKJV)
Good morning, Mountain Moving Friends!!
I pray that as you gather with your local church today—for worship, prayer, the sacraments, and the Word—you would be deeply blessed. May your presence be a quiet witness to others of the value of gathering together. As you connect with people you might not meet anywhere else, I pray those relationships would grow stronger and become a source of encouragement.
I pray that your pastor or priest would be uplifted simply by seeing the faithfulness of the congregation. May your presence also create opportunities to serve within your church, helping to build up the body of Christ and strengthen God’s kingdom.
I pray that your mind and spirit are nourished as the Word of God is preached, prayed, and shared. May God also guide you in how to give your time, talents, and resources in ways that bless both your church and your community.
I pray your church reflects the fullness of God’s family—people of every generation, from infants to the elderly—encouraging and supporting one another in faith. And as you sing, worship, and pray together, may you experience the love of God through his people and the unity of the Holy Spirit among you.
Jesus, we ask all these things in your name. AMEN.
