Arts Camp Wednesday

So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11 NIV)

God,

On this middle day of camp week, we pray for renewed strength and energy for the volunteers who are faithfully serving these campers. We ask for Your protection over the weather today, and we pray against any rain or storms that would interfere with safe travel or with the campers’ opportunity to enjoy outdoor play during lunchtime.

As the campers continue to learn through each devotion, workshop, and interaction, we pray that You would plant within them all that You desire to say. Help them to know their identity as beloved children of God, created with a plan and a purpose in Your Kingdom. Give them a vision for how they can use their artistic gifts in community to tell Your story and share the love and grace of Jesus Christ with the world.

May every word spoken, every song sung, every lesson taught, and every act of kindness become seeds planted deep within these precious young lives. By the power of Your Holy Spirit, may those seeds take root and bear fruit for years to come.

In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31 NIV)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV)
