“Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.” (John 4:36 NIV)
“Many in this world do not know the incredible love of the Father. Jesus described these people who had yet to discover his goodness as being a part of a “great harvest.” The statement of Jesus in John 4:36 encourages us to share his wonderful life, his glorious light, and his expansive love with those around us.
“Perhaps you can think of people in your life whose souls are ready to receive the incomparable love of God. Jesus promises that those who reap these souls will receive a reward. There is incredible joy and celebration in both planting the seeds and reaping the harvest. This is not something done forcefully. It is always an invitation, without guilt or manipulation. There is liberty for all of us in the great kingdom of our God.
“Lord, open my eyes to see whom I can share your wonderful love with today, no strings attached. I know that your truth always draws people in with kindness and clarity.“
