Proverbial satisfaction

When you live a life of abandoned love, surrendered before the awe of God, here’s what you’ll experience: Abundant life. Continual protection. And complete satisfaction! (Proverbs 19:23 TPT)

Lovers of God have been given eyes to see and ears to hear from God. (Proverbs 20:12 TPT)

The lovers of God who chase after righteousness will find all their dreams come true: an abundant life drenched with favor and a fountain that overflows with satisfaction. (Proverbs 21:21 TPT)

I was rereading Proverbs recently and wrote down several verses that struck me. Some verses were specific to my relationships or other circumstances in my life, but these three resonated with me, partly because they resonated with each other. The theme of being a lover of God is obvious in each. The blessings of God naturally flow from loving God. When we live life surrendered to God and seeking God’s righteousness, we have abundance, protection, satisfaction, God’s direction, favor, and fulfillment. May we seek a deeper surrender, greater love, and abundant satisfaction from our God.

God,

Help us to love you more, body, soul, mind, and spirit. Help us to trust and surrender to you, to chase after your righteousness, and to live in humility before you. Grant us favor, blessings, fulfillment, abundance, and protection. Help us to hear the sweetness of Holy Spirit’s guiding voice within our spiritual eyes and ears. Overflow our lives with satisfaction in who you are and who we are as your children, we ask in Jesus’s name, AMEN.
