Lord, I have heard of your fame;
I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord.
Repeat them in our day,
in our time make them known;
in wrath remember mercy. (Habakkuk 3:2 NIV)
After two out-of-state trips for family events, an unexpected appointment that took a day, and then a refreshing conference this past weekend, I have not had much time to write. However, I ask you to join me in praying for our local churches and their people.
God of Hunger, stir up within Your people a hunger for Your Presence. Pour out the spiritual oil and wine of Your Holy Spirit so that hearts and spirits come to a deeper level of hunger for You.
In a congregation with only a few hungry people, let them be the spark in that place for revival as their hunger becomes contagious.
Revival fire, fall on Your people. May the power of Your Presence burn within us. May Your glory be poured out upon us. Revive Your Church. Revive Your people. In Jesus’s name we pray, AMEN.
Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down,
that the mountains would tremble before you! (Isaiah 64:1 NIV)
Will you not revive us again,
that your people may rejoice in you? (Psalm 85:6 NIV)
